Our client is growing its Global Knowledge Centre in Gdańsk and is seeking a results-oriented Team Manager – P&C Operations to lead a team delivering consistent, compliant, and high‑quality employee lifecycle services.
This is a pivotal opportunity to influence the operational success of People & Culture (HR) services, foster talent, and champion process excellence in an international environment.
About the Role
As Team Manager – P&C Operations, you will oversee a team of HR Operations Specialists and Coordinators responsible for delivering key employee lifecycle services across a designated region or process area. You’ll ensure service accuracy, drive improvements, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the business. This role reports directly to the Head of P&C Operations and combines leadership, coaching, and operational execution.
What You'll Do
Manage day‑to‑day execution of core P&C services such as onboarding, employee data changes, mobility, offboarding, and contractor administration
Distribute workload, monitor team performance, and ensure SLA and KPI targets are met
Oversee accurate, timely processing of HR transactions and resolution of employee queries
Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as the main point of contact for in‑country P&C teams, HR Business Partners, and key business stakeholders
Escalate complex cases, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure follow‑through on resolution
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Payroll, HRIS, and other Ops Managers to standardize and align practices
People Management & Development
Coach and mentor team members to support growth, performance, and career development
Lead engagement activities and promote a high‑performing, inclusive team culture
Champion change initiatives, tool adoption, and global process rollouts
Compliance & Process Excellence
Ensure services comply with labor laws, data protection, and internal controls
Keep process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge assets accurate and up to date
Contribute to continuous improvement, harmonization, and service excellence
What You Bring
Key Skills and Tools
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Proficient in SAP Success Factors and Service Now
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem‑solving ability
Customer‑first mindset combined with analytical thinking and process focus
Professional Profile
5+ years of experience in HR operations or shared services, including employee lifecycle activities
2+ years in a team lead or people management role
Deep understanding of HR systems, SOPs, and compliance standards
Experience with labor law in European countries is a plus
Proven track record in process optimization and standardization
Education & Background
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in international, matrixed organizations is an asset
Leadership style marked by empathy, clarity, and accountability
