Remote with occasional travel to Warsaw office
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This position is a key part of the Online Operations team and offers the opportunity to enhance the digital customer experience through effective stock management, merchandising, and online product allocation.
The Merchandising function manages the operational setup of products across all digital platforms, ensuring pricing accuracy, content quality, and feature availability. The role involves a strong technical component related to e Commerce platform configuration and maintenance.
Core responsibilities include optimising product presentation — such as categorisation, filters, sorting, on-site search, and recommendations — to improve user experience and key metrics including bounce rate, cart creation rate, and conversion rate.
The role also involves building efficient routines and standards for regular and seasonal catalogue updates, ensuring the right products receive appropriate visibility to support overall sales targets.
This position requires close collaboration with commercial and marketing teams to align on priorities, product launches, and promotional campaigns — continually seeking ways to improve product positioning and drive higher conversion rates, order values, and sales.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operational:
Manage and maintain product information within the e Commerce platform
Update and validate product pricing
Set up and manage promotions, including discount codes and vouchers
Oversee product catalogue accuracy and pre-order setup
Manage selected website content to support upselling and cross-selling initiatives
Implement and maintain new e Commerce features and tools
Manage partner or affiliate online stores when required
Record and track requests using internal project management systems
Strategic:
Drive online sales through effective merchandising and tactical product management
Maintain accurate listings, promotions, and content across all websites
Work closely with stakeholders to test and improve merchandising strategies aligned with UX and the wider customer journey
Use data-driven insights to optimise conversion and merchandising performance
Ensure all merchandising activity is properly tracked and tagged for performance reporting (traffic, trends, conversion, and sales)
Support optimisation and personalisation projects in collaboration with the wider digital team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
This role requires an individual capable of implementing tactical improvements while also contributing to longer-term strategic goals within online merchandising operations.
Up to 1 year of e Commerce experience
No previous merchandising experience required
Strong attention to detail and good technical and Excel skills
Process-oriented with a structured approach
May require support in certain tasks
Minimum 2 years of merchandising and e Commerce experience
Strong analytical and Excel skills
Demonstrated success in identifying and delivering optimisation opportunities
Highly organised with strong process discipline
Capable of working independently and delivering in a fast-paced environment
Minimum 4 years of merchandising and e Commerce experience
Experience with e Commerce platforms (e.g., SAP Hybris or similar)
Proven track record in driving results and optimising merchandising operations
Strong technical, analytical, and Excel skills
Excellent planning and project management capabilities
Ability to mentor junior colleagues and manage multiple priorities effectively
