What you'll do:
Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native platform services to support development teams.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, ARM templates, etc.).
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops) to streamline software delivery.
Deploy and manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AKS, Docker Swarm, etc.).
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of platform infrastructure.
Implement observability solutions for monitoring, logging, and tracing using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Azure Monitor.
Enhance Dev Sec Ops practices, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and platform infrastructure.
Define and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
Maintain and optimize networking, storage, and compute resources across cloud and on-prem environments.
Work closely with federated engineering teams to enable seamless adoption of platform capabilities.
Continuously research and implement new technologies and best practices to improve platform performance and efficiency.
Who you are:
Strong experience with Azure (or other cloud providers) and cloud-native architectures.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, ARM templates, etc.).
Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development using Git Lab CI/CD, Azure Dev Ops, or similar tools.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE), Docker, and containerization.
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, and networking best practices
Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic
Ability to write automation scripts using Python, Bash, Power Shell, or Go.
Familiarity with API Gateway, Service Mesh, and microservices architectures
Experience working in an Agile, Dev Sec Ops, or federated engineering environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and ability to work across teams.
Willingness to work onsite 50% of the time on a monthly basis, with an initial four-week period fully onsite in our Katowice location to facilitate integration and team collaboration.
