Analytics Engineer
What will you be doing?
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Five Tran, and DBT .
- Ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery for analytics and reporting.
- Develop and optimize data models using DBT to enable business intelligence and analytics.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs, translate them into technical solutions, and provide actionable insights.
- Work with MS Azure tech stack
- Utilize Delta Parquet for efficient data storage and querying.
- Automate data transformation and delivery processes using CI/CD pipelines .
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance tools like Unity, Data Hub .
- Monitor and enhance data quality across pipelines and storage systems.
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data needs.
- Enable self-service analytics by ensuring well-structured and accessible data for BI tools like Power BI .
Must-have requirements:
- Strong experience in DBT for transforming raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets.
- Expertise in SQL and working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks .
- Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and Five Tran to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
- Experience with data testing frameworks
- Experience with data modeling patterns (Kimball, Data Vault)
- Experience with Git Hub/Azure Dev Ops for version control and pipeline automation.
- Understanding of data governance best practices and tools like Unity or Data Hub for metadata management and data lineage tracking.
- Ability to integrate data pipelines with visualization tools like Power BI .
- Familiarity with REST APIs for integrating external data sources into data platforms.
- Professional English proficiency both written and spoken (min. B2+/C1).
