Job Description Summary: In this role as a Senior System Engineer you will design, develop and validate new products and technology such that capability, cost, and quality satisfy the customer requirements.

Responsibilities: Organize and supervise systems activities in projects Define and estimate project technical and organizational resources required for systems activities Coordinate, with other competencies (SW, HW, ME), development of the system concept in projects Provide technical advice and oversight in projects for customer requirements elicitation, system requirements and system architecture development according to AS&UX standards Provide technical support and coordinate technical aspects of project development in close relation with project involved competencies (Pj M, SYS, SW, HW, ME, IT&V, PT&V, MNG etc.)Represent project in front of customer for technical discussions Lead and mentor technical problems solving activities Monitor industry related technologies and market available solutions in order to apply them in projects Be active as engineering professional outside of the company (member of professional technical organizations, patents, publications etc.)Take a lead in technical and organisational innovation programs Care for good company image, confidential information and company’s property On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and Technical Center in Kraków Must Haves (Basic Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics3+ years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive Industry Proven record of taking customer requirements from design to production Familiarity with microprocessor/controller based hardware designs, System/Software Architectures for automotive designs, and network topology Experience with CAN, Ethernet, LVDS Communication Experience with Simulink, Mat Lab, CANoe, CANape, etc..
