_What will you do?
Responsibilities :
Design, write, test, and optimize Assembler code for mainframe systems.
Maintain and enhance legacy Assembler applications to meet business needs.
Collaborate with teams to integrate Assembler components with COBOL/Java applications.
Optimize system performance using tools like IBM RMF and OMEGAMON.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues using advanced debugging tools.
Mentor junior developers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
Contribute to system modernization strategies and decisions.
_Who are we looking for?
Requirements :
Professional experience in IBM coding and development, mainly in z/OS Processing Environment.
Professional development experience in 64-bit and 31-bit Assembler programming languages.
Highly developed mainframe technology skills.
Coding experience in a multitasking, reentrant, and/or sysplex environment.
Self-starter able to work independently to provide quality solutions with little oversight.
Experience creating functional designs/specifications from business requirements.
Experience with Mainframe environment (TSO/ISPF, JCL etc).
Operating system-centric role.
Excellent knowledge of z/OS structure and internals.
Experience developing code utilizing low-level OS functions.
Understanding of z Linux and Unix System Services.
Experience with C & C++ is a plus.
