Lead the design and implementation of GCP-native data solutions, ensuring best practices in performance, security, and cost efficiency. Implement data integration strategies using Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, and Dataproc. Optimize data storage and processing workflows leveraging Big Query, Cloud SQL, and Firestore. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to ensure data availability, quality, and usability. Define and implement data security best practices, including IAM roles, VPC security, and encryption techniques. Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines using Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring. Stay ahead of emerging GCP technologies and advocate for innovative solutions to improve data engineering workflows. Mentor junior engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to a culture of excellence in GCP data engineering. YOUR PROFILE4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)-based solutions. Expertise in Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, and Dataproc for ETL and data processing. Strong programming skills in SQL and Python for data transformation and pipeline development. Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing best practices. Proven experience in data security and access management, including IAM roles, VPC security, and encryption techniques. Strong understanding of cost optimization and performance tuning in Big Query and Cloud SQL. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform or Deployment Manager. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
