The opportunity

As a Senior Java Developer in Consulting, you will participate in various streams of implementation projects, collaborating with agile team members to achieve project and client goals. We are looking for passionate developers willing to move our projects on a new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team, you will participate in international projects based on the latest data technologies and cloud platforms.

Your key responsibilities

• Work as a Senior Java Developer to contribute in various streams of implementation projects
• Writing unit tests for created software
• Collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and client goals
• Participation in design and test activities

Skills and attributes for success

• Highly proficient in web-based OOP (functional programming will be a plus)
• Familiar with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA, and Maven
• Hands-on experience working with REST and SOAP web services
• Very good knowledge of SQL and one of the database engines
• Experience with source code management, continuous integration, and automated deployment
• Knowledge of Clean Code and Unit Testing

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or other Technical qualification
• 5+ years in a corporate IT environment in similar positions
• Demonstrable experience of Java and frameworks commonly used in Java projects
• Strong communication skills in English

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of Kafka or Rabbit MQ
• Knowledge of Camunda Platform
• Hands-on experience working with microservices architecture
• Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud products and services
• Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage
