I understand and accept the terms of use. An Asset Manager in Photovoltaics (PV) is responsible for overseeing the performance, maintenance, and financial aspects of solar energy assets. This role involves ensuring optimal operation, managing contracts and compliance, and maximizing the financial returns of the solar assets. Key Responsibilities:1. Operational Management:o Monitor and analyze the performance of solar PV assets.o Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams to ensure the assets operate efficiently.o Implement strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of PV systems.2. Financial Oversight:o Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the assets.o Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the profitability and return on investment of the PV assets.o Manage asset-related financial transactions, including invoicing and payments.3. Compliance and Reporting:o Ensure all assets comply with local regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.o Prepare and submit regulatory and compliance reports as required.o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of asset performance, maintenance, and financial activities.4. Contract Management:o Oversee and manage contracts related to the assets, including Lease and Service Agreements (LSA), O&M contracts, and warranties.o Negotiate contract terms and ensure all parties meet their obligations.5. Reporting & Communications:o Provide regular updates and reports on asset performance and financial status to stakeholders.6. Risk Management:o Identify and assess risks related to the operation and financial performance of the PV assets.o Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.7. Project Development Support:o Assist in the development and acquisition of new PV projects.o Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies for potential new assets.8. Technology and Innovation:o Stay updated with the latest advancements in PV technology and industry best practices.o Recommend and implement new technologies and processes to improve asset performance and reduce costs. Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.• Skills:o Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.o Excellent communication and negotiation skills.o Proficiency in asset management software and tools.o Knowledge of PV technology, regulations, and industry standards.o Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
