The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join Javelin’s new Poland office reporting into the Head of Commodity Logistics, with daily support from the wider global team. There will be regular interaction with Trading, Technology, Documentation and Settlements teams, making it suitable for a team player used to interacting on a global scale with a unified goal in mind. Currently, the Polish office focuses on coal but will shortly be expanding into Scrap, Biomass and potentially more products. You will have a key role in the success of this new Poland office, with a wide range of duties in addition to daily logistics tasks; full information on daily remit is below: Agreeing schedules of product deliveries Entering data into systems (Right Angle/Beacon)Arranging inland deliveries within CEE with Truck and Rail Carriers Creating shipping/Rail/Truck documents Involved in the drafting and reviewing of purchase, sales and logistic contracts in conjunction with London office functions Contact with clients Servicing the company's clients in the implementation of contracts for product supplies concluded by the commercial department Cooperation with other departments in the field of product supply plans in the short and long term Cooperation with recipients/suppliers/carriers regarding current arrangements Supervising the implementation of ongoing product/transport orders in terms of performance, quality and compliance with the contract Handling correspondence explaining disruptions under coal/transport contracts Approving and processing transport invoices. Minimum Requirements Degree educated (related degree preferred)Proven experience in a similar role preferred Strong attention to detail Excellent English and Polish verbal and written communication skills A proactive and solution-oriented approach A capable, enthusiastic individual who is a self-starter, able to work under pressure and comfortable with taking initiative Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Self-motivated and able to collaborate effectively with a global team.
