As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud‑based solutions. Your expertise will enable organizations to harness the full power of cloud technologies, driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design cloud solutions that align with technical and business requirements as defined in Cloud infra document.
Configure and deploy cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or ARM templates.
Write scripts and leverage automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in managing cloud resources.
Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to cloud infrastructure, and prepare reports on system performance and incidents.
Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, containers, and databases.
Implement infrastructure as code (Ia C) practices to ensure consistent, repeatable, and automated cloud deployments.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Implement cloud migration projects, ensuring a seamless transition from on‑premises to cloud environments as per defined practices in cloud infra design doc.
Refactor legacy applications for cloud‑native deployment, leveraging modern architectures and Dev Ops practices.
Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using YAML scripts, Shell scripts, and Tasks to streamline cloud‑based application deployments.
Implement robust security controls, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and best practices.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Power Shell) for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
Orchestrate workflows using tools like Kubernetes, Jenkins, or Ansible to improve efficiency and reliability.
Stay abreast of cloud industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Pursue relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) to deepen your expertise. What You’ll Bring A relevant Bachelors or higher‑education degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
1‑3 years of hands‑on experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or related roles.
Preferred certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Deep understanding of the Azure platform, services, and features, including Azure Compute, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java Script, or Power Shell for automation and scripting.
Expertise in cloud security, including configuring security protocols, managing security services, and ensuring compliance.
Familiarity with Dev Ops principles and tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Jenkins) for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, VPNs, and routing.
Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Power Shell, Bash) for automation and infrastructure management.
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and tools.
