For a client in the FMCG industry, we are building a team to act as a central point of contact for data initiatives, with the goal of developing the area of data integration and analytics. We are looking for individuals for the position of Data Engineer who will be responsible for building and developing data pipelines and integrations in a Databricks environment, primarily based on sales and marketing data from multiple business systems. The role combines project work with handling ongoing requests and maintaining the data platform, supporting the stability and continuity of business processes. By joining this project, you will also become part of the Data & Analytics Competence Center, a specialized unit that brings together experts in the areas of data engineering, data processing and analytics, and cloud technologies.
Your tasks
Design, build and maintain data pipelines and integrations in Databricks
Create scalable data processes in the Azure environment
Integrate data from different business systems and data sources
Ensure high data quality and data governance compliance
Handle ongoing requests and operational support for the data platform
Collaborate with local and global teams to enable effective use of data
Participate in building a central data integration architecture for Europe
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as Data Engineer or similar position
Very good knowledge of SQL and data transformation
Experience working with Azure-based data platforms
Practical knowledge of Databricks or similar data processing platforms
Experience in building data pipelines and systems integration
Knowledge of English to communicate freely in an international environment
Residence in Poland required and fluency in the Polish language
Nice to have
Experience in integrating systems such as Salesforce, SAP or Marketo
Previous work in a maintenance and development model (handling tickets and requests)
