We are looking for a Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Generative AI, particularly with Large Language Models. Our ideal candidate would focus on exploration and exploitation of state-of-the-art models, together with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, BI Analysts and Software Engineers of a multicultural team. 



Key Tasks and Responsibilities



Understand the landscape of Generative AI and their potential business applications

Investigate and apply state-of-the-art Large Language Models to solve potential business problems

Collect, process relevant data sets and deliver proof of concepts

Take part in the development of prototypes and production services with other team members in a cross-functional agile team setup

Analyze and improve existing productive Generative AI services

Learn, grow and be an active member of our internal data science community by sharing best practices and success stories



Our requirements:



Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or similar

Solid hands on experience with data analysis, visualization, storytelling and Python programming including corresponding data science/AI libraries

Knowledge of standard supervised learning methods (e.g. time series forecasting, regression or classification)

Proficient in NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, Spa Cy, Hugging Face)

Experience with Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering and cloud-based API services for Generative AI

Passion to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies in the field of Generative AI

Clear and succinct verbal and written communication skills in English



Nice-to-have knowledge:



Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) or LLM fine-tuning

Experience with Microsoft Azure ML/AI services

Familiarity with Big Data frameworks (e.g., Spark) and Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., Py Torch)

Experience in implementing scientific methodologies

Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solutions

Background in Logistics

Willingness to publish articles and speak up in tech conferences
