We are looking for a Data Scientist with hands-on experience in Generative AI, particularly with Large Language Models. Our ideal candidate would focus on exploration and exploitation of state-of-the-art models, together with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, BI Analysts and Software Engineers of a multicultural team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Understand the landscape of Generative AI and their potential business applications
- Investigate and apply state-of-the-art Large Language Models to solve potential business problems
- Collect, process relevant data sets and deliver proof of concepts
- Take part in the development of prototypes and production services with other team members in a cross-functional agile team setup
- Analyze and improve existing productive Generative AI services
- Learn, grow and be an active member of our internal data science community by sharing best practices and success stories
Our requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or similar
- Solid hands on experience with data analysis, visualization, storytelling and Python programming including corresponding data science/AI libraries
- Knowledge of standard supervised learning methods (e.g. time series forecasting, regression or classification)
- Proficient in NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, Spa Cy, Hugging Face)
- Experience with Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering and cloud-based API services for Generative AI
- Passion to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies in the field of Generative AI
- Clear and succinct verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice-to-have knowledge:
- Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) or LLM fine-tuning
- Experience with Microsoft Azure ML/AI services
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks (e.g., Spark) and Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., Py Torch)
- Experience in implementing scientific methodologies
- Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solutions
- Background in Logistics
- Willingness to publish articles and speak up in tech conferences
