About The Role
Our Treasury team members are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives that shape how we grow and scale. They help set up our payment and financial risk management infrastructure by working across functions, products, and regions to centrally manage risks.
We're looking for an experienced Finance Services Manager to oversee safeguarding operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. As we continue our hyper‑growth, you'll support new product and entity launches, manage our transition to a new safeguarding regime, and enhance our internal control environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing day‑to‑day safeguarding activities to ensure compliance with current regulations and internal policies
Ensuring that new products and entities are properly assessed and integrated into our safeguarding framework, aligning with our growth strategy
Spearheading the transition to the new safeguarding regime (expected early 2026), ensuring timely compliance and minimal disruption to operations
Leading internal and external audit engagements related to safeguarding, ensuring effective communication and resolution of any findings
Continuously assessing and enhancing the control environment to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity
What You'll Need
Experience in safeguarding, with a solid understanding of relevant regulations and best practices
Expertise in managing safeguarding operations, with the ability to implement policies and procedures effectively
Excellent leadership and management skills to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation
The ability to develop and execute strategic plans for safeguarding, aligning with organisational goals
Experience managing audit engagements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
Nice to have
Experience in a similar role in a high‑growth, high‑performance startup or scale‑up environment
Familiarity with upcoming changes in safeguarding regulations and experience implementing new regulatory requirements
Experience managing large‑scale projects, particularly those related to regulatory compliance
An understanding of safeguarding risk management principles and practices
