Are you ready to take the next step in your career in compliance and internal controls? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a
Junior SOX Controller , serving as the central point of contact for all SOX-related matters across PBS Poland and our central HQ. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the documentation, implementation, optimization, and execution of all applicable SOX controls within the PBS Poland scope. You’ll collaborate with GL Team Leads across various clusters and contribute to strengthening our internal control environment.
You’ll operate under the guidance of the Senior SOX Controller or Manager, gaining valuable experience in a dynamic, international setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise and make a meaningful impact in a supportive and professional environment.
We currently offer a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.
Scope of the Role
Operates under guidance of and reports to the Senior Sox Controller or Manager.
Serve as the central point of contact for all SOX-related matters, acting as a liaison between PBS Poland and central HQ, ensuring effective communication and coordination
Take accountability for the documentation, implementation, optimization, and execution of all relevant SOX controls within the scope of PBS Poland, ensuring compliance with SOX regulations
Collaborate closely with GL Team Leads responsible for different Clusters, promoting teamwork and alignment in SOX control processes
Maintain and update SOX-related documentation and processes, ensuring they remain current and effective in meeting compliance requirements.
Facilitate SOX audits and assessments, coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure successful outcomes and adherence to SOX standards.
Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Shared Services environment in a related field such as finance, accounting, or internal controls
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
Hands-on experience with documenting and implementing internal controls (SOX) in a shared services or corporate environment is highly valued
Chartered Accountant certification is a strong plus
Fluency in English is essential for daily communication and documentation
Polish and other European languages are a strong asset
