The Legal function is a key business partner providing legal advice and support to the business in a wide range of legal and compliance matters. We are looking for an in-house lawyer with strong contract drafting, excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively. This position is located in one of our offices in the EMEA region and reports to the Regional Counsel.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Legal Advisory & Compliance:  - Provide clear, practical legal guidance to business across the EMEA region to support risk mitigation, legal compliance, and operational clarity

Contract Review & Negotiation Support:   - Conduct high-volume review and drafting of general terms and conditions, commercial contracts, including NDAs, distribution, supply, subcontracting, leasing, sales and services agreements, and other product-related contracts Support senior counsel in negotiating contract terms with third parties; independently lead negotiations on certain matters as appropriate.

Corporate & Governance Support: -Monitor corporate secretarial matters in coordination with internal and external counsel.

Employment Law: - Provide legal support on employment law and disciplinary procedures in partnership with Human Resources.

Dispute Resolution & Litigation: - Assist with litigation and dispute matters, including liaising with external counsel, preparing internal guidance, and reporting on case status.

Legal Training: - Support the delivery of legal and compliance training to internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Provide legal support to regional functional teams including finance, treasury,  risk management, IT, real estate, supply chain, HR, and EHS, Customer Care, QM. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with legal requirements and company policies.

YOU HAVE:

A qualified lawyer (preferred a degree from a university in the EU/admission to the bar in the EU) with a minimum of 3 years PQE with a proven track record in commercial contracts and compliance.

Excellent English written and oral communication skills

French and Italian language skills strongly desired

Inspires trust and open communication demonstrating interpersonal and business counselling skills

Excellent business and commercial knowledge and understanding

Highly motivated and committed to deliver work of the highest quality and integrity

Ability to quickly and effectively resolve conflict and challenges   

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as part of a team demonstrating initiative and adaptability

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Willingness to travel within the region on a regular basis
