YOUR TASKS
Provide expertise on secure development and the security of programming languages and development frameworks.
Perform security testing and security code reviews to improve software security.
Onboard software applications into application security testing tools, such as static analysis tools (Open Text Fortify and Sonatype Nexus IQ) or web application scanning tools (Qualys WAS).
Create or adapt existing CI/CD pipelines to launch security scans automatically.
Assist development teams in troubleshooting and debugging security issues.
Document recurring issues and update secure coding guidelines.
Occasionally train software team members on secure coding practices and tools.
Ensure that application security norms and standards are respected by development projects.
Provide regular reporting on the security level and vulnerabilities of software applications.
YOUR PROFILE
Strong familiarity with Sonatype Lifecycle (Nexus IQ) for Software Composition Analysis (SCA).
Experience using Qualys WAS for Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
Exposure to penetration testing and threat modeling practices.
Proficient with Open Text Fortify (SAST), including both SSC and CLI (required), and Fo D (optional).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, with a preference for Azure Dev Ops, as well as Jenkins and Git Lab.
Ability to communicate risk clearly and effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
Strong collaboration skills and a coaching mindset, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
