Project Description:
We are building the platform, which supports various information gathering and processing across the bank. The PMC application, Price Master Central (PMC) is a global reference data management application - responsible for sourcing securities/Pricing data from market vendors and internal sources and providing it to downstream clients after applying client-specific rules.
Responsibilities:
Excellent understanding of database concepts including procedures, triggers, packages, constraints, indexes, table statistics using Oracle 19c and 23ai.
Experience in designing, architecting and implementing resilient database solutions.
Should be able to help in finding current performance bottlenecks and provide solutions to improve performance.
Review AWR, ADDM, ASH and other performance reports and provide performance enhancement solutions.
Working knowledge of Linux Redhat, file system, cluster management (RAC) and Oracle ASM & ACFS.
System analysis and design skill with knowledge of data flow diagrams, data dictionary techniques, case tools, entity relation modeling, design technique etc.
Database design skill including normalization theory, star schema design and data modeling tool with proven experience of process, data flow and forward/reverse engineering of logical/physical RDBMS layout.
Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service.
Experience with building database warehouse solution.
Extensive experience with database compression and purging techniques.
Experience with MSSQL, Mongo DB and Postgres will be an added advantage.
Experience in enabling advanced database compression techniques for better performance and storage savings.
Good understanding and working knowledge on Java, Spring.
Should be familiar with container technology like Kubernetes.
Mandatory Skills:
At least 6+ years of experience with databases.
Deep knowledge and usage of SQL (Oracle or Postgre SQL dialects is preferable).
At least 6+ years of experience in Java.
At least 7 years of experience in the software development industry.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with messaging systems: Rabbit MQ, Kafka, etc.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Polish: C2 Proficient
