Opis

State Street’s Enterprise Risk Management division is seeking a Resilience Risk Analyst to join its Operational Resilience Risk function. The role is based in Krakow in Poland which is where your direct manager is located. You will support and collaborate with team members in EMEA and North America, and engage with the Enterprise Resilience Office, Enterprise Technology Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Global Technology Services, Business Units, and Critical Business Service Owners to execute the Operational Resilience Risk program, and perform second line oversight and challenge on the Enterprise Resilience Program. Responsibilities Gain an in-depth understanding of how Critical Business Services at State Street are delivered by the firm to clients and the markets. Develop a detailed understanding of the interdependencies between Critical Business Services and the impacts from disruption, both internal and external. Provide data driven analysis to assist in developing a resilience profile for each Critical Business Service through mapping vulnerabilities and gaps across the processes, technology systems and third party dependencies. Extract, analyze, synthesize, and report on information from various sources including Incident Management, Archer, Business Continuity Systems, and Business Process workflows. Develop insightful and visually stimulating presentations and reporting for Senior Management, Regulators, and Governance committees up to the Board level. Assist in the execution and documentation of the Impact Tolerance and Scenario Analysis programs. Participate in Resilience deep dives and thematic Risk Memos. Monitor and maintain key records for the team such as the Book of Work, Status Reports, and the Activity and Challenge trackers. What We Value Technical Competencies Experience of working in operational resilience, operational risk, technology risk, cyber security, and third-party risk management. The ability to understand risk exposure across the end-to-end of a business service. Knowledge of Custody, Fund Accounting, Payments, Clearing, and Settlement processes at a Custody/Asset Servicing bank is a plus. Familiarity with the key regulatory obligations and guidance for Operational Resilience (PRA/FCA, FRB, ECB, CBI, etc). Outstanding proficiency with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word, Power BI, and Teams is essential. Non-Technical Competencies The team works in a fast paced environment and strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills are vital. The role requires flexibility and dynamism as often we are required to respond to regulatory and business requirements within aggressive deadlines. The ideal candidate has a self-starter mentality, takes initiative on team deliverables, and makes sound independent judgements to deliver a high quality finished product. Ability to effectively translate complex material into clear and meaningful presentations for senior management. Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are critical. Strong organizational skills, writing proficiency, attention to detail. This role interfaces with global stakeholders so the candidate will collaborate with teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Services. Proven work experience in implementing projects as a business analyst or risk analyst. Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Finance/Business Management or equivalent experience. About State Street What we do.
