We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to support the General Ledger Team in Shared Services Financial Accounting.

This is what your typical day looks like:

• Preparing and posting transactions for our national and international group companies within the Shared Service Center Financial Accounting (EMEA, APAC, and America), considering IFRS, HGB, and tax law regulations
• Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the companies managed by the Shared Service Center

Skills required for the role:

• Experience: in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
• Language skills: good knowledge of English and German – B2
• Knowledge: of IFRS accounting, and preferably German GAAP (HGB)
• Proficiency in SAP
• Certification: accountant certification
• Work environment: enjoy working in a team
