Lead Automation Tester (Java)
We are seeking a Lead Automation Tester (Java) to join our team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions for procurement and finance.
You will lead the design and execution of both automated and manual test cases for Java-based applications. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to ensure robust test coverage and smooth software delivery. Responsibilities
Design and develop automated and manual test cases for Java applications
Collaborate with developers to deliver high-quality procurement and finance software
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Java tools such as JUnit and Selenium
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Identify, document, and track defects and coordinate with developers to resolve issues
Participate in requirements analysis and contribute to test planning and strategy
Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain detailed test documentation
Support release management and deployment processes
Continuously enhance QA processes and implement best practices
Requirements
5+ years of experience in QA and testing with a focus on Java applications
Strong background in test automation frameworks, including JUnit, Selenium, and Test NG
Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Lab and version control systems
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
Analytical and problem‑solving skills with effective communication abilities
Experience conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)
Nice to have
Experience in finance or procurement domains
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to No SQL databases and messaging systems, including Kafka and JMS
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and REST Assured
Knowledge of agile methodologies and collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Slack
