PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Application Performance Engineer to join our team. As a Java Application Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance and scalability of our Weblogic applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in java/weblogic application performance.
- Develop and implement performance optimization strategies to enhance the speed, responsiveness, and scalability of java/weblogic applications.
- Collaborate with software developers and architects to design and implement performance enhancements and optimizations.
- Monitor and analyse web application performance metrics using monitoring tools and systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, both proactively and reactively, and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web application performance engineering.
REQUIREMENTS:.
- Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficient in performance testing tools and methodologies. (Jmeter).
- Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools. (ex. App Dynamics).
- Experience with performance monitoring and analysis weblogic application.
- Familiarity with web server configurations and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Temenos Core Banking would be an advantage, not mandatory.
