Client : Multinational Company in the Financial Sector (Headquartered in the United States)

Location : Remote

Duration : Contractual, with potential for extension

Experience Level : Mid to Senior

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development :
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Node.js-based testing frameworks.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product owners, to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
• Provide feedback on design and implementation to improve quality and performance.
• Test Management :
• Design and manage test cases, including functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end tests.
• Track and report defects, ensuring timely resolution and verification of fixes.
• Tool Integration :
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Use tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar for continuous testing.
• Documentation :
• Maintain clear documentation for test cases, scripts, and processes to ensure team alignment and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise :
• Expereince in Node.js .
• Experience with automation frameworks like Mocha , Jest , or Cypress .
• Proficient in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger .
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Testing Knowledge :
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Expertise in creating automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Additional Skills :
• Familiarity with financial systems or domain knowledge in the financial sector is a plus.
• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with at least 1 year using Node.js.
