The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen and a thorough understanding of CFCC - Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance Business Risk Assessment and Advisory. They should be highly skilled, with practitioner-level experience in CFCC risk assessment, monitoring, business risk advisory, regulatory and policy interpretation, compliance management, issue and event management, and change risk management. Exposure to product development, regulatory technology, innovation, data analytics-led risk management practices is also desirable. This is a global role covering the SCB footprint across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, and spans multiple business areas including Retail Banking, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Transaction Banking, and Financial Markets. The responsibilities include working across Business, Products, Clusters, and Countries Compliance and Specialist teams to perform: Risk Identification, Analysis, and Assessment of CFCC Risks, measuring exposure, and designing control frameworks to mitigate and manage these risks, enabling structured and thematic risk responses or remediation. Monitoring dynamic changes to risk and control environments, generating operational insights for tactical risk responses or remediation. Conducting targeted deep dives into material, emerging, or unknown risk areas due to changes in threat profiles or business strategies, for structural risk response or remediation. Key Responsibilities Manage issues and events as they occur, perform root cause analysis, learn lessons, remediate vulnerabilities, reduce exposures, and address control gaps. Manage CFCC risks introduced by business changes, assess impacts holistically, and mitigate risks proactively to support sustainable business growth. Provide business risk advisory on policies, regulations, and product or business changes to facilitate sustainable growth. Deliver actionable risk insights and recommendations to teams to support client-focused and risk-aware decision-making. Collaborate with CFCC Product Owners to improve products and services, leveraging regtech and data analytics. Contribute to the development and execution of the CFCC Professional Services team's vision, strategy, and growth. Work with colleagues and teams to identify risks and drive appropriate actions. Build and maintain effective relationships based on trust, capability, and integrity, providing timely CFCC advice to support strategic objectives. Skills and Experience- 5+ years of practitioner-level experience in Conduct, Compliance, or Financial Crime Risk management.- Experience in Conduct & Compliance Risks, Data Risk, Conflict of Interest, Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting, Regulatory Conduct, Market Conduct, Client Conduct, Financial Crime Risks, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions, Fraud.- 5+ years in Business, Product, or Operations Risk Management with exposure to Conduct, Compliance, or Financial Crime.- 7+ years in interconnected risk operations disciplines such as Financial Crime Risk Surveillance or Compliance Surveillance.
