Senior - Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A)

As part of our EY Assurance Team, the Senior/Assistant Manager will be responsible for working closely with FAAS managers and Senior Managers on clients and engagements across the Americas and EMEIA to provide end-to-end services related to Financial Planning and Analysis.

The opportunity

We’re looking for candidates responsible for the timeliness and quality of work as per project requirements for our FAAS team, with good accounting and financial planning knowledge. Prior experience in financial planning activities is required.

Your key responsibilities

• Yearly financial planning, monthly forecasting of revenue and all cost lines, including revenue, compensation grid, capacity optimization, efficiency targets, utilization levels, and performance reviews and dashboards.
• Budget to Actuals analysis and preparing commentaries for variances.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Perform consolidated reporting and review of cost management reports.
• Prepare quarterly, annual filings, and shareholder reports.
• Financial statement analysis and review.
• Prepare business unit financial statements.
• Produce filings and reports as required.
• Verify reporting accuracy prior to publishing.
• Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, resolve issues with business accounting teams and internal partners.
• Build SOPs and training materials.
• Maintain quality in client service and manage expectations on deliverables.
• Stay informed of professional standards and firm policies, applying this knowledge to client situations.

Skills and attributes for success

• Good understanding of the financial planning and reporting lifecycle.
• Experience with business unit/entity reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Ability to research client inquiries, including regulations, industry practices, and technologies.
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, Metapraxis.

Qualifications

• B. Com, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), DIP (IFR), or MBA from a reputed institute.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience, including entity/BU reporting and MIS reporting.
• Proficiency in French.

Preferred skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Office.
• Knowledge of data analytics/visualization tools is an advantage.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical skills, and proactive approach.
