We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to join our Client international manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting processes for our Polish operations, while working closely with the global finance team to ensure alignment with the Group's standards and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational and strategic financial control leadership to management and global process owners, ensuring alignment with Group strategies, objectives and processes.
- Lead and mentor the finance team at the Polish site, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and present financial insight and reports, including statutory annual report, to management.
- Manage the Polish financial forecasting process by working closely with the organization to ensure high accuracy in the quarterly forecasts, including conclusions and actions needed to align with Group strategies and objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of process improvements, risks, and opportunities for increased customer and product profitability, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure legal compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws related to tax and financial reporting to authorities.
- Manage the financial audit process, both local statutory and Group, including relationships with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with Group financial control policies, standards, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Extensive senior management experience in international manufacturing companies, with a focus on large ERP systems.
- Experience and interest in leadership and process-oriented organizations.
- Master's degree in economics or an equivalent qualification.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and keen on building relationships within the Group.
- Ability to communicate clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels within and outside the Group.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and results-oriented skills.
- Motivated by understanding the business through robust financial management.
