Overview
Hi! We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our US-based start-up Hey Daily (with the backing of top investors like Sequoia). We offer a fast-paced environment with the ability of quick promotions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React/React Native. A few words about our project: Hey Daily is enabling influencers to deliver exclusive SMS messages (text, voice notes, images, videos) to subscribed fans. We handle the payments, landing page and distribution through SMS. Influencers create bite-sized content (videos, images, text, voice notes) and send it through their app. The subscribers receive it as SMS and have a link to view media, which needs to be extremely mobile friendly (media could be set to disappear, think Snapchat in the browser). Salary: PLN 13,000-22,000 net (B2 B) + shares. Headquarters: Warsaw/NYC (wework), (optional remotely work).
Responsibilities
gain feedback continuously from users, customers, and colleagues;
create quality mockups and prototypes, ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency;
meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs;
write reusable code and libraries (with matching documentation) to a standard which makes it quick and easy to maintain the code in the future;
design new features, or maintain old features;
collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability;
help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Writing application interface codes using Java Script following react.js workflows.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Java Script
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
React / React Native experience
Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
Experience with user interface design.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Good project management skills.
