Inventory Optimization Lead (Merchandising / Sales)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Inventory Optimization Lead in the Merchandising Function, you will play a critical role in achieving the optimal balance between inventory levels and customer demand across markets, warehouses, and selling channels. You will drive efficient regional demand fulfilment, reduce carrying costs and maximize operational efficiency, ultimately supporting sales growth.
Responsibilities
Execute strategy and manage initial allocation parameters to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Follow up inventory targets for warehouse and store segments and provide actionable direction.
Set delivery schedules to stores in coordination with logistics.
Manage replenishment and push strategy settings per store segment.
Develop external exit strategy for inventory with global counterparts.
Collaborate with Demand & Supply, Merchandise, and Logistics units to enable stocking and storage management.
Optimize supply to minimize constraints impacting sales in line with the inventory optimization strategy.
Monitor inbound/outbound garment flow to support logistics and store planning.
Prioritize allocation of articles to secure commerciality in stores.
Qualifications
Previous experience in stock management strategies and practices.
Experience in merchandising, inventory or a sales‑related function.
Background in allocation, replenishment, or inventory management systems.
Strong analytical skills and a sales mindset.
Programming skills a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, etc.).
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Excellent cross‑functional communication and team collaboration.
Problem‑solving ability and ability to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Proactive, adaptable, and thriving in fast‑paced environment.
