Java Backend Engineer In Test (10/886)

You will join a team responsible for building and modernizing backend systems based on microservices architecture. The project focuses on developing scalable Java-based services while ensuring high software quality through advanced test automation frameworks. A key objective is migrating legacy solutions to modern API-driven architectures and increasing Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities.
You will Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java (11/17/21)
Design and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality
Contribute to migration from legacy systems to modern, API-based architecture
Work with RESTful services and integration layers
Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve testing processes
Optimize system performance and reliability
Work with databases and write efficient SQL queries
Use Unix-based environments and command-line tools in daily work Must have 5 - 10 years of experience in backend development Strong knowledge of Java (Java 11+, preferably 17+) Hands‑on experience in test automation (framework design and implementation) Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture Good knowledge of Git Experience with SQL and databases (preferably Oracle ) Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments Experience with Spring / Spring Boot Fluent English and Polish Nice to have Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
Experience working in QA or closely with QA teams
