Description Qualifications:Boeing Commercial Aircraft, Customer Support is currently seeking a Flight Controls System Service Engineer with experienced knowledge of Boeing flight controls system design and engineering principles in Warsaw/Gdansk, Poland.The primary responsibility in this role will be addressing and resolving in-service issues related to airplane flight controls system. In this role, you will also be tasked with: working directly with airline customers to analyze flight controls system issues, writing technical documents to inform airline customers of flight controls system issues status/resolution, monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.This position is a part of a global Customer Support team covering 24/7 to support the entire fleet all around the world. Some shift work is expected in order to cover weekends and/or off-hours. This position is expected to be 100% onsite with options for virtual days based on statement of work. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Position Responsibilities:• Assessing and resolving product/process issues through the product life-cycle.• Research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer.• Providing interim and final engineering solutions to return airplanes to revenue service.• Working with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.• Assesses system events reports to determine potential safety issues.• Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in an engineering related discipline from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.• Minimum 3 years engineering experience.• Must be willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation environment to support the needs of the customer.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Full-time aerospace industry experience with flight controls system.Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).Employer willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.At Boeing, we care deeply about the well-being of every employee.
