Position Overview: The Global Head of Procurement will be responsible for overseeing and managing the global procurement strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with a global outlook who can also work hands-on with the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on hydraulics, and a proven track record in managing large-scale procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and supply chain management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive procurement initiatives and achieve business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in global procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and similar technologies.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale procurement operations and budgets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on with the team.
• Willingness to be based in Wrocław, Poland, with flexibility depending on the region.
