responsibilities :
- Creating and maintaining pipelines for software deployments, and updates to edge devices on the sailing fleet.
- Developing testing and CI/CD pipeline for back-end code running on edge devices (Linux/Windows-based edge PC).
- Supporting Digital Twin backend code development.
requirements-expected :
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Informatics, Data Engineering, Statistics, Machine Learning, Mechanics, etc.
- Min. 3 years of professional programming experience.
- Education and/or experience in:
- Programming in Python (pandas, numpy, pytest, unittest)
- Dev Ops skills:
- software deployment for edge/Io T devices,
- cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure),
- automated processes, product scale-up, CI/CD (Git Hub actions),
- containerization (docker/Kubernetes),
- version control (git),
- Software testing (unit/integration/regression tests),
- Time-series databases (Influx DB & Grafana),
- Working in SCRUM or/and Kanban,
- Full professional working level proficiency in English.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Readiness for occasional business travel.
- Useful to have: distributed computing (Dask / Py Spark), agile (Azure Dev Ops), web development (Django), experience within the maritime industry, mechanics.
