We are now looking for a Quality Control (QC) & Supplier Development Engineer to join our team. The preferred location for the position is in the Shanghai or Suzhou area. What will you be doing?In this position, your work will include leading and managing activities for the assigned area, creating and implementing action plans in cooperation with business units. Responsibilities include: Enforcing and improving QC and expediting methods supporting ongoing projects. Establishing and following up on Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) with suppliers. Reviewing and following up on ITPs and participating in inspections and tests at supplier facilities. Logging quality punches during inspections and following up on their resolution with suppliers. Reporting during manufacturing processes. Supporting Purchasing in verifying reported progress. Logging non-conformances and following up on audit findings. Participating in project kick-offs, PPM, procurement plans, and commodity team meetings. Supporting internal and external audits. Collaborating with sourcing, supplier development, and QC teams regarding site visits such as PPM, FAT, and inspections, with or without clients. To be successful, you should have: Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of Welding, NDT, Painting, E&I equipment, P&ID, and engineering drawings. Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
