For our Client, an international automotive company, we are currently looking for a Test and Measurement Technician.
Responsibilities
- Conduct defined tests, trials, and measurements on finished products, sub-assemblies, and individual components for both development and series production
- Plan test setups and oversee their implementation, including hands-on involvement when required
- Perform measurement-based evaluations of mechanical parts, assemblies, and final products
- Analyze and document test results and measurement data accurately
- Manage test-related databases and maintain testing schedules
- Align test schedules and result deadlines with the project team, ensuring proper resource planning
- Share and present test findings to relevant stakeholders within the project teams
- Collaborate with customer and supplier departments to resolve technical questions and clarify results
- Support the development of specifications and technical guidelines
- Assist in creating Design Validation Plans (DVPs)
- Contribute to benchmarking studies comparing product performance against industry standards or competitors
- Participate in Consumer Robustness Audits (CRA) to assess product reliability from an end-user perspective
Requirements
- A technical qualification in mechanical, automotive, precision, or plastics engineering, or an equivalent background
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in testing and experimental work within vehicle technology or mechanical engineering
- An ability to operate testing and measurement equipment confidently and professionally
- Familiarity with test automation, including planning, execution, and basic programming
- Basic knowledge of quality assurance and problem-solving tools such as FMEA, statistical analysis, and the 7-Step method, particularly in the automotive field
- Experience in managing timelines and adhering to project milestone schedules
- Practical experience using Faro Arm or similar 3 D measurement tools
- Familiarity with GOM or comparable camera-based measurement systems
- Proficiency in English and Polish; German language skills are an advantage
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
