Working in partnership with customers from the Meat Industry in DACH, Benelux, Nordics and Eastern Europe to develop innovative new concepts as well as renovating current products that are tailored to customers' specific needs.
Key responsibilities Manages activities related to key projects.
Makes samples in application.
Ensures that ingredient functionality into final products fits the purpose of the customer.
Interacts with customers in trouble shooting sessions on application concerns.
Participates in internal training sessions to bring new developments as unique selling points for the customers.
Supports the roll-out of strategic new technologies, alongside Sales and Marketing teams.
Works closely with Business Development Managers to ensure relevant technologies are being brought to market.
Qualifications and skills Required Experience
Proficient in creating new products, improving existing ones and ensuring product consistency throughout shelf-life.
Strong understanding of the chemical and microbiological aspects of meat and poultry and their implications on safety and quality.
Knowledge of how ingredients interact and contribute to the texture, taste, and stability of these products.
Experience in Coating Systems desirable
Entry Qualifications BSc in Food Science or equivalent.
5 years’ experience in the Meat Industry.
Skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including timelines and resources.
Effective communication and teamwork with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Regulatory teams.
Competent IT skills.
Good communications skills | Self-motivated | Organised.
Proficient spoken and written English (C1).
