Nielsen is undergoing a transformation to modernize its procurement processes, and we need a skilled analyst to support this change. The Procurement Analyst will develop sourcing plans for software and hardware, maintain strategic supplier relationships, and manage key contracts.
The role involves leading assessments, negotiations, and execution of contracts, as well as managing relationships with external service providers, including outsourced contractors.
Responsibilities
Align Nielsen's enterprise professional services strategy with effective IT procurement strategies to deliver high-quality products and services at optimal costs.
Support and execute the global IT sourcing strategy.
Lead procurement activities including assessment, selection, negotiation, and management of outsourced services.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
Build and nurture stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted business partner.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and system enhancements.
Leverage supplier capabilities to meet business needs effectively.
Drive reductions in Total Cost of Ownership through analytics.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience in technology procurement, focusing on cost-saving initiatives and achieving business outcomes.
Passion and experience in IT procurement.
Proven ability to develop and implement category strategies with measurable KPIs such as cost savings, diversity spend, or sustainability.
Experience managing sourcing events, including RFX processes and contract negotiations.
Understanding of product offerings and enterprise agreements with large IT suppliers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Knowledge of Ariba, Power BI, or other P2 P and analytics platforms.
A positive attitude towards making procurement engaging and fun.
