Description This role sits at the heart of one of Hapag-Lloyd's most critical IT transformation programs.
As Product Manager for Engineering, Architecture & Operations (EAO), you provide the operational backbone of the EAO transformation: clear roadmap, disciplined execution, and transparent reporting across a complex, multi-year portfolio.
You will coordinate initiatives across Cost Stream ensuring they move in one direction, at one pace, with one story.
Cost is one of the core transformation streams you will steer, together with the respective leads.
Responsibilities Program and portfolio execution Own the integrated EAO transformation roadmap: structure, milestones, and dependencies across all initiatives.
Coordinate and track execution, keeping initiative plans, status, and risks current and consistent.
Maintain a centralized portfolio view (Jira, Lean IX, Confluence, Share Point) as a single source of truth.
Run the program cadence: weekly syncs, director interlocks, monthly reviews, quarterly and annual planning.
Track cross-initiative risks and dependencies and work with owners to resolve them within agreed timelines.
Cost and value stream oversight Coordinate the Cost stream as part of the overall program: run-cost roadmap, key milestones, and interlocks with Finance, Controlling, and Procurement.
Ensure cost and value-related initiatives (Fin Ops, ZBB, savings plays) are reflected in the roadmap, tracked in dashboards, and visible in program reporting.
Governance, communication, and tooling Prepare structured materials for Steer Cos, director-level forums, and program reviews (dashboards, slides, one-pagers).
Standardize core processes and templates for EAO initiatives, and align them with business-facing processes (e.g.
Procurement, Finance).
Continuously improve tooling and workflows in Jira, Confluence, Share Point, and portfolio dashboards to reduce manual effort and increase transparency.
Support leadership communication through clear summaries of progress, issues, and decisions needed.
Success looks like One coherent roadmap and portfolio view for EAO, trusted by directors and IT leadership.

Predictable cadence of planning and reviews, with actions closed on time.

Qualifications Experience in program management or PMO roles in complex, multi-stream IT transformations.
Strong coordination skills and comfort working across many stakeholders (directors, initiative leads, IT teams, business partners).
Solid understanding of portfolio and roadmap management, risk and dependency tracking, and governance.
Tooling fluency (Jira, Confluence, Share Point; portfolio or architecture tools are a plus) and a data-driven mindset.
Clear, structured communication in writing and in meetings; ability to turn complex information into simple views and executive-ready messages.
