SPORT1 is Germany's largest sports platform, with over 7 million social media followers and 20 million video views per month.
We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our User Experience & Brand Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and participate in design processes from user research and concept development to final implementation. Ensure user needs are prioritized throughout.
- Own the digital design system, maintaining consistency and integrity across all SPORT1 products. Continuously evolve the system to align with brand updates.
- Create visually appealing and brand-consistent interfaces that enhance the user journey. Ensure all designs are in line with SPORT1’s brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Collaborate with other designers, provide guidance to junior team members, and maintain design consistency and quality.
- Assist with usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and content creators to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs within the product roadmap in an agile environment.
- Effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders, balancing user needs with business objectives.
- Contribute to the development and execution of UI/UX strategies that align with company goals and elevate SPORT1's digital presence across various platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideally 3-7 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital projects.
- Degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A strong interest in sports and sports media, with an understanding of how it influences user experiences is a plus
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
