Freelance Construction Site Manager – Retail Fit-Out (Nights)
Location: Various sites across London

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee retail fit-out projects across multiple London locations, working on night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, proactive Site Manager with strong organisational and client-facing skills, looking to join a fast-paced, high-profile retail programme.
You’ll be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring H&S compliance, and driving projects to tight deadlines — maintaining quality and safety on live retail environments.
Responsibilities
Manage site operations during night works across multiple retail fit-out sites.
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure project timelines are achieved.
Enforce health & safety procedures and maintain site documentation.
Liaise with the client, project team, and wider delivery partners.
Oversee site set-up, logistics, and handover.
Requirements
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS (Managers Card)
First Aid at Work
Asbestos Awareness
Temporary Works Supervisor or Coordinator
Proven experience managing retail fit-out / refurbishment projects
Flexible to travel across multiple sites within London
Strong leadership and communication skills
Willingness to work night shifts on a freelance basis
