Where Do You Fit?

Nestled in our Automation and Control division, you'll be on the wheel, steering product and tech innovations, and overseeing projects for Kongsberg Maritime's state-of-the-art Automation, Bridge Systems, and Electro solutions. Collaborate closely with our Systems Architects, SW developers, and Project Managers to guarantee smooth sailing on all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• A key resource in defining architecture, design, and support realization of software.
• Establish a technical vision together with the Architect team, guiding the software development. This involves keeping up with current technological trends and innovations.
• Contributing to the development of the Software Architecture by providing innovative approaches, workflows, and technologies.
• Collaborate with teams of architects, developers, product owners, and managers, while sharing and exploiting knowledge in cross-functional and globally distributed multi-disciplinary departments and projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experienced software developer with a strong interest in software architecture.
• Knowledge in the use of modeling languages like Sys ML/UML and software architecture frameworks.
• Good programming skills in one or more languages, preferably C++/C#.
• Good communications and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of software production methods and technologies.
• Interest in Cyber Security.
