Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.
This fully remote position offers the unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, startup-like consulting practice, playing a crucial role in our clients' AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable ETL pipelines on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Develop and manage robust data warehouses using Big Query, Redshift, Athena, or Azure Data Lake.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret requirements, and provide data-driven solutions.
Ensure optimal data quality and integrity.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and propose improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering.
Proven expertise in building ETL pipelines on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with data warehouse technologies (Big Query, Redshift, Athena, Azure Data Lake).
Familiarity with Spark is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
