Job Description We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior IT Network and Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our critical network and security infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise firewall management, DDI services, and complex LAN/WAN environments, ensuring maximum performance, security, and availability of all network services.
Key Responsibilities Network Security Management: Perform daily management, change implementation, configuration, and advanced troubleshooting for enterprise firewalls, with a primary focus on Checkpoint (including Cluster XL, VSX/VSLS environments, and application firewall management) and Fortinet FW and Fabric solutions.
Design and implement network security on new sites and handle complex integration projects.
Configure and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs and manage Cisco ASA/FP firewalls.
Manage and process logs and reports related to security systems.
DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) Management: Administer and configure the DDI Infoblox solution, managing the address plan in IPAM, and ensuring robust operation of DHCP and DNS services.
Infrastructure & Operations: Provide expert support for customer on-site and hybrid network solutions, including LAN/WAN technologies, Wi Fi, and cloud infrastructure (including private cloud infra support).
Configure and maintain network devices, including Meraki wireless solutions, and routing/switching equipment.
Perform troubleshooting and resolution of complex network, hardware, and system problems.
Manage and support a Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment.
Support & Documentation: Collaborate with the Service Desk, utilizing ticketing systems like Ivanti, to provide Level 2/3 network support.
Support various end-user operating systems, including Windows, mac OS, and Linux.
Ensure all designs, configurations, and processes are thoroughly documented.
Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in a dedicated Network Engineering or IT Infrastructure Engineer role, with significant experience in network security.
Core Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in managing and troubleshooting enterprise firewalls, specifically Checkpoint (Cluster XL, VSX/VSLS) and Fortinet.
Strong knowledge of DDI solutions, particularly Infoblox IPAM/DHCP/DNS.
Proven experience with LAN/WAN design, implementation, and advanced routing/switching.
Hands-on experience with IPSec VPNs and Cisco ASA/FP firewalls.
Certifications & Knowledge: Relevant industry certifications such as Fortinet FCF and Fortinet FCA are mandatory.
Knowledge of or actively working towards CCNP is highly valued.
Familiarity with the ITIL Foundation framework.
Additional Information Preferred Qualifications Advanced Cisco certifications (e.g., CCSI, CCDA).
Experience with HP networking and server technologies.
Experience supporting Vo IP or videoconferencing systems.
