About the position

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with at least 5 years of experience to join an international team working for one of our customers, a leader in the insurance industry . As a Senior Java Developer, your role will be to develop key features of our client’s internal tool, which is integrated with other systems and tailored to business needs.

You will collaborate with teammates based in Poland and across Europe and will have direct contact with product owners and application users. Knowledge of front-end technologies is an advantage, and experience with AWS is a plus.

Key responsibilities

1. New features development
2. Application testing and maintenance
3. Application deployment
4. Writing clean, functional code on the back-end
5. Writing technical documentation
6. Propose technical improvements to the application

Competencies

1. Technologies: Java, Java Script, Angular, Postgre SQL, Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), Jenkins
2. Knowledge of integration with Salesforce is a plus; integration with Microsoft platform - Excel is a plus
3. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a must
4. Fluency in English is a must
5. Familiarity with Jira
6. Familiarity with common stacks
7. Familiarity with databases
8. Great attention to detail
9. Excellent verbal communication skills are a must
10. Independence and drive to grow and learn
11. At least 5 years of commercial experience
